I began handicapping college baseball in 2018 for an online betting group. While the betting market for college baseball was scarce, the lack of information needed to justify making a bet was even harder to find. Despite not finding lines for every game or the information you might need to place a bet, it didn’t stop me from having huge success betting on the sport. As the years passed and more college baseball betting markets opened up, I still struggled to find the information I needed to feel like I could sustain the edge over a book’s number. Once we began College Baseball Insiders in 2023, I realized that people craved college baseball content, and there wasn't a lot outside of a few other outlets. So we went about growing as an “if you build it, they will come,” and thanks to all of our loyal listeners and followers, we’re so happy to share this with you all as we continue to grow the game and help bettors bet our favorite sport out there.
I began handicapping college baseball in 2021. After years of watching without any action on the games, and knowing there was an edge against the books who were still learning what college baseball was I decided to jump in and take advantage. While the sport is still in the baby stages of gambling, it was time to go public with my knowledge and love for the game in hopes of helping one or two people who have the same level of interest. In 2023, I teamed up with Matt to create College Baseball Insiders (under the network NCAA Insiders) where our advanced analysis and thoughts would be heard and tracked throughout the sport. Here we are now with a successful gambling track record, a website, all access gambling guides and our own game projection system for all to enjoy, follow, and learn from throughout now and every season moving forward.
My name is Todd Smith co-host at Notebook Wagering and a contributor of Sharp Angle Syndicate. I joined NCAA Insiders with Matt and Quentin in 2024. I gamble on all sports but my main focuses are on college hoops, college football, and college baseball. I began handicapping college baseball in 2022. I am excited to give my opinion on the games this year and for the future. Numbers are numbers and we know them at NCAA Insiders.
